Supergirl star Melissa Benoist is set to take on Teela’s role in Kevin Smithanimated series of Masters of the Universe: Revolutionwhich is a continuation of his Masters of the Universe: Revelation. She will replace Sarah Michelle Gellarwho voiced the character in Revelation.

Revolution find Teela fighting alongside He-Man and the rest of the Masters as they struggle to save Eternia from the tangles of darkness. Benoist said in a statement, “I jumped at the chance to work alongside my friend Kevin Smith and join the Revolution family as another bold and fearless heroine. I can’t wait to share the next evolution of Teela’s story with fans.”
Revolution tells an all-new story that “focuses on the classic rivalry between He-Man and Skeletor in a way audiences have never seen before. It’s technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors take on the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the Planet in the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia.
Benoist joins the previously announced cast, which includes Chris Wood like He-Man, Mark Hammill such as Skeleton, e William Shatner in a role that has yet to be revealed
Masters of the Universe: Revolution will debut on Netflix in 2024.
