‘The Voice’ Season 23: New Managers, Big Changes, and Everything You Need to Know

Kelly is coming back The voice as manager in Season 23 after one season away. She was the head coach from seasons 14 to 21. Joining Kelly are Niall and Chance, the two new head coaches for season 23. They are replacing Camila Cabello, Gwen Stefani, AND John Legend.

The voice Season 23 release date

The voice Season 23 will premiere March 6, 2023 at 8:00 PM on NBC. Monday episodes will be 2 hours long, while Tuesday episodes will only be 1 hour long.

The season will kick off with several episodes of Blind Auditions before moving into Battles, which kicks off on March 27. The playoffs will start on May 1st. Live shows start May 15th.

The voice Changes in season 23

New changes to the format of the competition will be implemented in Season 23 to make it the fiercest yet. A new Playoff Pass will be introduced in battles. This will allow both battling artists to advance, with the Playoff Pass winner gaining a huge lead by jumping into the knockout rounds and automatically advancing to the playoffs, moving one step closer to the live shows.

Each manager has one pass to the playoffs and one steal during this round. Seven performers per team will advance, with six competing in qualifying and one performer in playoff pass.

During the qualifiers, artists will be placed in pairs. They will individually select their own songs while their direct competitors watch and wait. The coaches pick the winner and the unselected artist is available to draw, as in previous seasons. The Trainers have only one tie during this round. Five artists per team will advance, four Knockout winners and one Playoff Pass artist.

The playoffs are back for Season 23 and knockouts will follow. The remaining 20 artists will take the stage, and each coach will only be able to advance two artists to the live semi-finals.

Why is Blake Shelton leaving? The voice?

country music legend Reba McEntire will act as Mega Mentor of The voice season 23. It will help coaches guide the remaining performers who have made it through the battle rosters as each team prepares for the playoffs starting April 17.

Reba is already a member of The voice family. He has served as Team Blake’s battle advisor since season one.
