Courteney Cox talks SCREAM VI and teases an “awesome” scene she has with Ghostface

Scream VI star Courtney Cox recently spoke a bit about the role of Gale Weathers in the upcoming sequel. He is the only surviving legacy cast member who is returning to the franchise as Neve Campbell she chose not to return the money she was offered.

It sucks that Campbell isn’t returning, and speaking of her absence, Cox said she “missed working with her” and that she stands by “whatever she feels is right.” She then went on to tease an “amazing” scene she shares with Ghostface, telling Variety:

“I have a really good scene with Ghostface and it was amazing. Of course I got stabbed a lot and all that, but this time, working with Ghostface and not knowing who’s under the mask, it was really fun. Usually from the every time I get stabbed, I know who it is.”

I assume that means she will be stabbed again. We can most likely get a glimpse of the scene referenced here in the trailer that was released. The big question is… Will Gale survive again or will he join Dewy in the afterlife? Coxs went on to say:

“[Gail] he still lives in NYC, which is great because the killer is in NYC now, just like Sam and Tara moved there. He fell right into her lap. She wrote a book after that. He told Sam he wouldn’t do it and then, of course, he did it because, I mean, someone would. So, she had to. Here comes Kirby – Hayden Panettiere. It’s so interesting how people have come back. I have to remember. I thought she was dead! I’m so confused. There have been so many. I’m so excited to be a part of something for so long.”

The next chapter in the horror saga “continues with the four survivors of the Ghostface murders as they leave Woodsboro behind and begin a new chapter.”

When it comes to the violence factor, Melissa Barrara recently said in an interview: “With the last one He shouted, they were tiptoeing and trying to be very respectful of what the franchise had been up to that point, and keeping their inner gory dreams at bay. But with that, they said, ‘We’re doing everything.’ It’s potentially a hundred times gorier. So we did it!

Radio silence Matt Bettinelli-Olpin AND Tyler Gillette (Scream, ready or not), are both back behind the camera for the upcoming Scream VI.

The cast also includes Jenna Ortega as Tara Carpenter, Brown Savoy Jasmin like Mindy, Freemason Gooding like Chad, Samara texture, Liana Liberato, Hayden Panettiere such as Kirby, e Dermot Mulroney. Courtney Cox he also previously confirmed his involvement. Some newcomers include the actor Dermot Mulroney AND Mission Impossible star Henry Czernymore Jack Champion (Avengers: Endgame, Avatar: Water Road), Liana Liberato (Light as a feather), Devyn Nekoda (sneaker), AND Josh Segarra (Adrian Chase of Arrow).

Scream VI will bring Ghostface back to theaters on March 10, 2023.
