Nearly two months ago, Jeremy Renner was involved in a snowplow accident at his Nevada ranch that left him severe trauma and up to 32 broken bones. Early reports indicated that Renner’s health was critical but stable, and after undergoing surgery he woke up and was improving day by day. In addition to his physical rehabilitation, the actor was keen to share it he’s also working on his mental healthwith a photo where he is seen with the book ‘The Book of Awakeing’ accompanied by the phrase: “Even Mental Recovery”. Also a few days ago, Renner shared on his Twitter account that, through electrical stimulation, he was training the strength of his leg muscles.
The latest reports indicate that the accident occurred when the actor was trying to help his nephew to get the car out of the snow. Renner saw the car heading straight for his familiar and tried to stop or divert it to no avail. At the time of the accident, Renner was lying on the ground with severe breathing difficulties while waiting to be evacuated to a nearby hospital. Once there he was admitted to intensive care and subsequently underwent surgery. The report also indicates that the nephew suffered no physical damage and that the accident it could be due to human error as the parking brake would not have been engaged, although it is also confirmed that the car suffered from some mechanical problems.

Though Renner still has a long recovery, he posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Valentine’s Day ‘Rennervations’ his next project for Disney+which, as Variety points out, is a four-part series that follows Renner as he travels the world helping communities create one-of-a-kind vehicles.
