Dan Carvey she recently shared an Instagram post that features a photo of herself as her classic Wayne’s world character Garth Algar and seen painting a portrait of Mike MyersHere’s Wayne, lying on the couch posing for the picture.
As you can imagine, fans are now wondering if that could mean there’s more to it Wayne’s world on the way, and while there’s no indication that anything is going on with this comedy franchise, it would be pretty awesome to see a third Wayne’s world the movie is done!
The photo is accompanied by the caption, “Garth says, ‘I like to paint,'” with a hashtag #WaynesWorld. In the comments, Carvey went on to… post an easel emoji, but there’s no mention of possible new content.
The beauty and the Beast AND Frozen star Josh Gad responded in the comments by saying, “Please let it be 3.” Many fans echoed Gad’s comment in hopes of a new film.
The property belongs to Paramount Pictures and it’s up to them to decide if anything is going to happen with the franchise. It worked with Bill and Ted: Face the Music! Why not bring Wayne and Garth back!? Fans would love it!
Seriously though, why post something like this if you didn’t want to get fans excited about something that’s coming!?
