3x Best Picture Oscar nominee Marc Platt (the country, Bridge of Spies, Taste of the Chicago 7) will produce for his Universal-based Marc Platt Productions with Adam Siegel, President of Marc Platt Productions. Platt is currently in production for the Universal Pictures film adaptation BadDirected by Jon M. Chu are Grammy winner Ariana Grande and Academy Award nominee, Tony, Grammy and Emmy winner Cynthia Erivo.

VP of Production Development Lexi Barta will oversee the film on behalf of Universal.

DeBlois is repped by WME and Lichter Grossman Nichols Adler Feldman & Clark.
