Lionsgate has released a new badass trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4 and is filled with new action-packed footage from Keanu Reeves brutally kicking ass and killing anyone who tries to take him out. My goodness… the action sequences in this film are going to be off the charts, and this is just a small taste of what the next installment in the John Wick franchise will offer!

Previously speaking of the film, Reeves said that “John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I’ve ever made. In terms of action, it’s the hardest movie I’ve ever made. But that’s what makes it good.” He went on to explain that “There are a lot of people who are coming after [Wick]and there [are] a lot of different kinds of scenes that are fun for the action.”
One of those scenes he teased was “a fight scene in traffic” and we can see what he’s talking about in this trailer! She also explained: “The table is this world above the world; and the people, the killers, under the table are as boundless as the grains of sand on the beach. So there [are] a lot of people come after John Wick. But really, for the John Wick movie[s], it’s really just the invention of the scene, right? How can you do these scenes?”
The film will have the most action of any film in the franchise, and Reeves said, “John Wick: Chapter 4 is our own opus. Oh my God, that’s crazy, man! That’s banana cake!”
John Wick: Chapter 4 is led by Chad Stahelski, and the cast also includes Donnie Extravagant Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, AND Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.
The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2023.
