The last time we saw Tom Holland under the mask of Spider-Man was in 2021 with ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which reunited the Spider-Man of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield and catapulted the post box office -pandemic, raising $1.9 billion worldwide. Even though Holland’s trilogy could have ended here, Marvel Studios is already planning the return of its most charismatic Spider-Man.

Kevin Feige, president of the Marvelita studio, assures that we will see more of him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “All I’m about to say is we have the story”he said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “We have great ideas for this and our writers have already set to work”. Holland has continuously expressed his gratitude and his love for the character, but he also wondered if it’s time to hand the suit over to someone else, but it seems that the moment he speaks of has not yet arrived.
Feige left it up in the air what that return will look like, either with a new saga continuing the superhero’s story or through forays into “The Avengers” movies. For her part, Amy Pascal, who after her position as president of Sony Pictures Entertainment produces content through Sony through her production company Pascal Pictures, dropped out at the time they were working to continue with another trilogy of “Spider- Man,” though it’s unconfirmed that these are the plans Feige is referring to. “This is not the last film we will do with Marvel, [no es] the latest Spider-Man movie. We are preparing to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel”Pascal said in a 2021 interview. Let’s consider these three [‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, Spider-Man: Lejos de casa’, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’] a trilogy, and now we’ll move on to the next three. This is not the end of our films for the MCU”.
In November, however, the Culture Spider Twitter account was created rumors that Holland has agreed to sign a contract for three more installments focused on the character, as well as appearing in two Marvel films: ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. Additionally, the account denied rumors that the spider superhero would appear in “Daredevil: Born Again,” as there was no deal with Disney+.
Regarding the format of “Daredevil: Born Again”.
In the same exclusive interview, Kevin Feige also reports the innovative format they are proposing for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, the reboot that should arrive on Disney+ in 2024 and which confirmed the return of Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Feige says they are interested “try” with the format of the series, which shouldn’t necessarily square with the multiverse or follow Marvel’s usual narratives. “We want to make series that can only be series”says the president. “Now we’re starting to see the fun in having a self-contained, episodic story week in and week out”.

The series’ protagonist has revealed that the television drama will consist of 18 episodes, which will extend filming practically throughout 2023. Charlie Cox compares the format to that of the series “old school”where each episode was equivalent to a case to solve, as in the most popular medical or police dramas. “It won’t necessarily be one case a week, but something where we dig into Matt Murdock, the lawyer, and see what his life is like… I think there’s something pretty cool about that, spending a lot of time in the day-to-day life of a superhero and really earning the moments when he’s in the suit.”. Apparently, Marvel is betting and experimenting a lot with the return of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, but Cox feels that “If ‘Daredevil’ reboot doesn’t hit the mark, it could be the end”.
