Meet the new protagonists of “True Detective” in its fourth season

If there is a detective series that has been praised in recent years, it is “True Detective”, which surprised everyone with the premiere of its first season, and with each delivery has decreased in quality. Now, HBO has presented the protagonists of the fourth chapter of the program, which will be directed entirely by Mexican Issa López.

In social networks the first official image of ‘true detective 4’, the return of the show created by Nic Pizzolato and Cary Fukonaga that surprised a lot in history starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrilson. Now, for new episodes, the show is directed by director Issa López, who premiered ‘Vuelven’ in 2017.

The triumphant return of ‘True Detective’

As we have already said, after the premiere of the acclaimed first season of ‘True Detective’ (ranked as one of the best so far in this century), the subsequent installments did not have the same impact. Even with a full star cast like Colin Farrel or Mahershala Ali in the second and third parts. But with “True Detective: Night Country”, the series wants to make its triumphant return.

Alan Page Arriaga will be the screenwriter in charge of the new episodes, which want to recover all the mysticism and atmosphere that was seen in the first season of Nic Pizzolato and Cary Joji Fukunaga. The rest of the cast also includes John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, Isabella Star Lablanc and Joel D. Montgrand.

Cary Fukunaga and Nic Pizzolatto return to the production, accompanied by Barry Jenkins. As of now, the fourth season of ‘True Detective: Night Country’ does not have a release date, but it will arrive this year, 2023.
