It’s about the family. ‘The Fast and the Furious’ changed the game when it was released on June 22, 2001. The movie became a huge box office hit and spawned one of the most successful movie franchises of all time. After 9 films, the “Fast” franchise has grossed over $6 billion at the box office. ‘Fx’ is sure to add to that number, with the newly released trailer hinting that the final films will be filled with action, suspense and, of course, excitement.
The first film stars the main cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez. Over the years, other members of the “Fast” family have joined the team, with Brie Larson, Jason Momoa, and Rita Moreno joining the cast for the last two films.
But it was Vin who became a household name when the first movie came out. He leads the “Fast” franchise as the one and only Dom Toretto, but that’s not all he’s done. Vin also starred in the ‘XXX’ and ‘The Chronicles of Riddick’ film series. Most notably, he voices the character of Groot in the MCU. In addition to two other ‘Fast and Furious’ movies, Vin was rumored to be in subsequent ‘Avatar’ sequels, but that didn’t happen.

Paul Walker
Paul Walker was best known for playing Brian O’Connor in the series ‘Fast’. He started the franchise with Vin Diesel in ‘The Fast and the Furious’.
