Pokémon Scarlet AND Purple Pokémon they are highly controversial to this day. The games launched in November 2022 and have been plagued with performance issues and glitches. I remember about a week after launch Nintendo took to social media to acknowledge that there are issues with the game and a patch was pushed that helped with some of the issues. However, it looks like more fixes could be in store.

In a recent interview with the Financial Post, Susan Penne father, general manager of Nintendo of Canada, apologized for the mess that was Scarlet and Violet and said improvements are on the way. When asked what Nintendo learned about the terrible launch, Pennefather said:

You know, we absolutely apologize. Because it’s so important to provide players with a positive experience with our games, and when we don’t, we take it very seriously. What I can say is that player feedback has absolutely been taken very seriously. And we are working to improve these games.

I hope we will have those fixes soon. I gave the game a 6 out of 10 in my review and stand by it. However, I’ve since finished the story of the game and the Pokedex and it’s one of the funniest Pokémon games I’ve been playing for the last few years. If you can get past the many flaws, there’s a really fun game in there. What do you think about how Nintendo actually spoke Scarlet AND Viola? When do you think we can expect these improvements?
