Jay Z delivered an incredible performance of her guest verse on “God Did” to close out the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 5th. The 53-year-old rapper breathed fire when he appeared during DJ Khaled performance, along with John Legend, lil wayne friday AND Rick Ross which also appeared on the title track 2022 from Khaled’s thirteenth album.

As the rappers performed outside the Crypto.com Arena, the climax of Jay’s epic verse song was reached as everyone sat down to a lavish feast of delicious food. The “99 Problems” rapper sat in the center of the table as he delivered his incredible verse, before Khaled and John Legend played the end of the song to close the show.

The song performed by the trio was also nominated for three awards that night: Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. In addition to three nominations for Khaled’s epic song, Jay also has Album of the Year nominations for his contributions to his wife. by Beyonce incredible record Renaissance and another nomination for song of the year as co-writer for their single “Break My Soul”. Prior to the 2023 awards, Jay has won 24 Grammy Awards in the past. He won Best Rap Album for the first time in 1999 for vol. 2… hard lifebut his most recent win came in 2022 when by Kanye West song “Jail”, in which Jay reunited with his look at the throne collaborator.

Even though Jay had an incredible performance at the Grammys, fans are still looking forward to a new album from the rapper. It’s been almost six years since Jay abandoned his vulnerable record. 4:44and though he released Everything is love along with Beyonce in 2018, hadn’t released a solo album in a while.

While his wife has had a banner year with her latest album, which Jay collaborated on with her, the rapper said he has no immediate plans for new music in an interview on by Kevin Hart Furniture podcast in June 2022, by board. “I don’t know what will happen next. I’m not actively making music or making an album nor do I plan to make an album,” he said at the time, but dismissed any notions that he would step away from the game. “But I never want to say I’m retired.”
