Ben Whishaw he is known for his roles in Mary Poppins Returns, Fargo, There is no time to dieand more recently Women who speakbut one recurring role he loved is the voice of the lovable stuffed teddy bear Paddington, whose adventures spanned two popular films. Fans have been told there would be a third film in the franchise, but it’s been nearly six years since the release of the second film and we still haven’t heard of a Paddington 3except that it would be called Paddington in Peru.
In a recent interview with Collider while attending the Sundance Film Festival, Whishaw was asked if he had any update on the third film, and he said:
“I haven’t read this script and I don’t even know when we should shoot it. I do not know. I thought it would already happen, but I don’t know. He’s gotten quiet the way they do these things sometimes. Maybe it just means they’re still working on it, or maybe it means it’s not happening, or you just don’t know.
Well, that’s not very promising! Paddington AND Paddington 2 they were genuinely entertaining films, with the second film even among the top favorite films of all time Peter Pascalthe character of Javi in The unbearable weight of a huge talent. It even convinces Nicolas CageNick Cage’s character did this in a screening that made him cry.
Hopefully it’s just a heist with the actors or the studio needing to figure out the filming timeline, and we’ll be hearing more about the threequel soon!
