Danny Trejo and Joel McHale star in sci-fi comedy TIM TRAVERS AND THE TIME TRAVELER’S PARADOX

Danny Tregio (Machete) AND Joel McHale (Community, The great interiors) will appear in an upcoming sci-fi comedy film titled Tim Travers and the time traveler paradoxby the director Stimson Snead. The film is an expansion of Snead’s award-winning short of the same name and wrapped filming in Spokane Washington earlier this month.

The film is the protagonist Samuel Dunning (Blue blood) plays “a narcissistic, genius-but-broke scientist trying to solve the paradox of what happens to your past self when a future version travels back in time. His work attracts the attention of the leader of a mercenary army played by Machete Trejo star.

McHale plays “a conspiracy theorist radio host whose interviews with the lead scientist in his shocking work frame the narrative.”

North by Northwest, which previously supported Snead’s previous shorts, is the lead producer on the feature film. Rich Cowan of North by Northwest, said in a statement, “Having worked with Stimson on his two highly compelling short films, I am thrilled to be involved with his first feature film. Not only he has talent. He’s organized and has a sense of maturity that doesn’t befit his age.”

Guerilla Rep Media Founding Chief Ben Yennie said, “I met Stimson years ago at the Seattle Film Summit and I couldn’t be happier to join him for the culmination of our mutual efforts on his feature film directorial debut. . Everything is progressing very well and we are looking to get a first look at our buyer contacts at this year’s EFM.”

Guerrilla Rep Media, which oversees marketing and distribution, is preparing to give buyers a preview of the feature film at the Berlinale’s European Film Market in February.

The short that inspired the film played at more than 30 film festivals in 2022, including winning multiple awards at Boston SciFi, Nevermore Film Fest and FilmQuest.
