Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have announced they will reunite for a fourth Bad guys movie! Sony Pictures has confirmed that the untitled sequel is in pre-production and Adil El Arbi And Billall Fallah they will return to direct the sequel after theirs Bad girl the film was scrapped by Warner Bros.
Smith and Lawrence made the announcement in a video shared on social media, captioning “IT’S ABOUT THE TIME!” The video follows Smith as he drives to Lawrence’s house saying, “Yo, I have an ad. You’d better stop scrolling.
Arriving at Lawrence’s door, the two eagerly share it The bad boys 4 it’s officially on its way, and Lawrence yells, “It’s about that time!” Smith chimes in, “Bad boys for life, baby,” Smith reinforces “For life,” and they amusingly acknowledge that the title of the third film actually squandered the pun they could have used for the upcoming fourth film with Smith who says, “We shouldn’t have called him that though.
The last movie, Bad boys for life, was a decent and fun action comedy. I’m sure this next one will do just as well. I really don’t see the need for more Bad Boys movies, but Smith and Lawrence seem excited and I’m sure hardcore fans will be happy to see another chapter in the franchise.
I guess that means Will Smith is done getting grounded after he slapped Chris Rock at last year’s Oscars ceremony, and Hollywood is ready to start working with him again. It was also recently reported that he may reprise his role as Genie at Disney Aladdin 2.
