All coming to Luna+ and Prime Gaming in February 2023

Amazon Luna is a video game streaming platform that lets you play games via the cloud. In the wake of the death of Google Stadia, Luna is trying to make a name for herself. If you have Amazon Prime, you can access some games at no extra cost, but you can subscribe to Luna+ for $9.99 or Ubisoft+ for $17.99, or even the Jackbox Games bundle for $4.99 a month. In my experience, the service is fine, but it definitely has room to grow. That said, Amazon Luna recently announced two new games coming to Luna+ in February.

• Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider

  • In the downtrodden world of Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider, humanity finds an unlikely hero. After building an army of super soldiers as weapons of war, the Authoritarians unknowingly seal their fate by manifesting a ninja warrior known as the Moonrider. Conceived as a tool to preserve the totalitarian state, the Moonrider instead rejects its intended purpose and wages a relentless battle for revenge against its creators and fellow super soldiers. Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider will be available on Luna+ in February (with RP rating for Rating Pending).

• Navigate ahead

  • In Sail Forth, players can explore the deep blue and command a sailing fleet of customizable ships. With the wind in their sails, they can discover an ocean whose ancient depths have swallowed up the key to the mysterious past. Players can befriend dolphins and other curious sea creatures and take down a band of gutless pirates. Sail Forth will be available on Luna+ in February (rated E for all).

Additionally, free games for Prime members (called Prime Gaming) are changing to include these four titles.

• Yakuza Kiwami

  • In Yakuza Kiwami, you play Kazuma Kiryu, an up-and-coming yakuza who takes the fall for the murder of a crime boss, only to break out of prison ten years later into a changed world. This remake of Yakuza, the first game in the Yakuza series, has improved gameplay and an expanded story, returning battle styles from Yakuza 0, and re-recorded audio from the series cast. Yakuza Kiwami will be free to play for Prime members in February (rated M for adults 17+).

• WRC Generations

  • In WRC Generations, players can dive into the action and compete in the most comprehensive, realistic and challenging rally simulation ever developed. Strategies change with the inclusion of hybrid models from the 2022 WRC championship adopting drivers and teams as they race across 21 rally locations, including 13 of the 2022 official championship events. WRC Generations will be available on Luna+ in February (E-rated for all ).

• Potion permit

  • Armed with reliable tools and a brewing cauldron, Potion Permit players become a skilled chemist trying to convince the residents of Moonbury of the wonders of modern alchemy and cure the mayor’s daughter. He collects ingredients in the world, diagnoses symptoms and finds cures in this open-ended RPG sim. Potion Permit will be free to play for Prime members in February (rated E for everyone).

• SkateBIRD

  • In SkateBIRD, players take on the role of a lonely little bird, whose Big Friend has hung up his board forever. Their job sucks and lately they’re hardly ever home to hang out with their feathered friend. Players will solve all of this with the power of being a cool skateboard bird. They may be tiny, but the more they skate, the more friends they’ll make. The birds will come to check out their park, help them find other parks, and together, fix Big Friend’s life! SkateBIRD will be free for Prime members in February (rated T for Teen).
