“I’m a bit nomadic. I graduated from high school, so I’ve lived in 5 or 6 big cities,” Jen says. She doesn’t want to stereotype 2 kids and “live in a house in the suburbs. That’s not me.
Jen admits she’s had a “history of falling for the wrong guys.” She adds, “I’d prefer very charismatic, good-looking guys, but in terms of long-term partners, they weren’t what I needed.”
Everything changed when she met Rishi. She met the 32-year-old personal trainer and model in a hotel lobby during a solo trip to India. When Rishi started showing Jen pictures of her, she didn’t think it would become something.
“I immediately looked for a difficult passage. I wasn’t interested in him at all,” she says. “I thought he was a bit of a jerk, for lack of a better way to put it. But a few days later, we started dating as friends. We’ve seen it 4 or 5 times. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what made me fall in love with Rishi… I knew it was him.
Within a month, Rishi proposed “completely out of the blue”. Despite the little time they’ve spent together, Jen says she “didn’t hesitate before saying yes. I felt good.
Jen and Rishi’s relationship will meet some setbacks. Rishis she faces a lot of pressure from her family because they want an arranged marriage. To complicate matters, they have no idea of his relationship with Jen. new episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Side airs Sundays at 8pm on TLC.
