‘Winnie the Pooh: BH 2’ and other horror adaptations are in danger
Jagged Edge Productions and the director of ‘Winnie the Pooh: BH’ say they are already working on a second part of the yellow bear film. But that’s not all, because they have also announced other adaptations of children’s characters to horror films, such as Peter Pan, Bambi and Thor. But after the much criticized premiere of this film, future productions may be in jeopardy.
Things escalated to a new level, when director Waterfield reported that he and his producer received death threats from fans who hated their movie. This is a sign that the public did not go so well, even among fans of the genre.
We’ll have to wait and see how things play out with the future of these types of adaptations and how “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” fares in the days that follow when it remains in theaters. If so, it can only result in two ways, a total failure or a success that secures the new adaptations.
