Marvel continues to bet a lot on the return of Matt Murdock in his solo series for the Disney + platform. And after hiring several Arroverse writers at DC Comics, they’ve now brought in real lawyers to help the writers with the legal drama portion of “Daredevil: Born Again,” which will focus more on this aspect.
According to information from The Cosmic Circus, the outlet found out several real lawyers work there ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. These are David Feige, Thomas Wong, and Zachary Reiter, who have been in several legal dramas and will now oversee that aspect in the upcoming Disney+ series starring Charlie Cox.
With this, Marvel makes it clear that ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will have a strong legal aspect, as Charlie Cox himself had hinted in the past. For his part, David Feige has worked as a public defender and on series like ‘Raising the Bar’. Wong was a lawyer in New York and contributed to ‘Bull’, ‘Minority Report’ and ‘Good Trouble’. And finally Reiter, who was a prosecutor and who was an assistant on shows like ‘Law and Order’ and ‘CSI: New York.’
At present, it is known thatDaredevil: Born Again’ it will be more of a legal drama, before a typical Marvel superhero series, or even different from Netflix’s “Daredevil”, where dark and thriller tone mixed with Matt’s lawyer life. Additionally, he will have 18 episodes, which will give more room for character development than ever before.

Charlie Cox Excited For ‘Daredevil: Born Again’
The development of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ will be the longest in the history of the MCU, starting in February and ending in December, almost a full year for the recordings of this series which will arrive in 2024. In this regard, Charlie Cox is excited about how impressive the show will be and how important his character has become to fans.
“I’m fascinated to find out why they chose to do 18,” said Charlie Cox in an interview with NME. “I guess there will be an element similar to the old school procedural show. Not necessarily the case of the week, but something that we really delve into Matt Murdock, the lawyer, and see what his life is like. If he’s done well and really gets his hands dirty with that world. I think there’s something pretty cool about that, spending a lot of time in the day-to-day life of a superhero and really winning the moments where he fits.”
At the moment, ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ does not have a release date, but it will arrive in 2024 and will act as a soft reboot of the Matt Murdock story that has been seen on Netflix, although it is unknown if this version of the character is the itself from the past three seasons or is it a multiverse variant.
