We finally have a release date for RWBY extension season nine! Rooster Teeth recently released a full trailer for the new season of the anime-inspired series RWBY extension and with it came a release date. Fans will be able to watch RWBY extension Volume 9 starting February 1 on Crunchyroll at 9:30am CT. The season will be exclusive to Crunchyroll for a year, after which FIRST members will have access, but with all the other great titles on the service, it’s a pretty solid deal. We can move gen:BLOCK there too?
After the harrowing events of volume 8, our heroines are catapulted into an unknown world: Ever After! However, once Team RWBY explores this strange and mysterious realm, they quickly discover it may not be as unfamiliar as they first thought. As they journey to find a way back home, they’ll have to overcome some of their toughest challenges: the fight for their identities, and whether or not they’re equipped to stop Salem.
