Spider-Man: There’s no way back home it could have meant so many different things! I loved what we ended up getting though because it was so cool to look at Andrew Garfield And Tobey MaguireSpider-Man versions are back in action! It was also nice to see that villain lineup of Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Sandman and Electro. But there was another villain that almost appeared in the movie, and that was it Jake Gyllenhaalit’s Mystery.
There were even scenes planned for the Marvel character and artist Phil Langone has revealed a great storyboard animatic revealing how one of the scenes with him would play out and has Spider-Man going berserker mode on him!
The scene, obviously discarded, would have taken place after Aunt May’s death. Langone explains:
“This version took place under an elevated train near Peter’s school. JJ Jameson is a TMZ-style street reporter. Part of the idea explored was that Spidey is one of the strongest superheroes, but he’s holding back because he doesn’t want to kill anyone. But what would it be like if Spidey went berserker mode.It was never finished, but it was fun to play.
Looks like it would have been a good scene! I get why they cut it, but to see Spider-Man go berserker like this would have been awesome! Go check it out and tell us what you think!
