The stars of ‘Smallville’ and ‘Supernatural’ did it gathered in Las Vegas at an event for fans thanks to the production company Creation Entertainment. This fusion was reflected in the selfie Michael Rosenbaum posted on his Instagram where he is seen accompanied by Tom Welling, Jason Manns, Rob Benedict, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.
Both universes met in this event, in what Jensen Ackles exercised as the main link. And is that, although Ackles is mainly known for his role as Dean Winchester in “Supernatural”, as fans of “Smallville” can well point out, he was also Jason Teague in the fourth season of the series about the young Clark Kent.

But be careful, not only Ackles can serve as a link, since currently Tom Welling, Clark in ‘Smallville’, also joined the universe of ‘Supernatural’ playing Samuel Campbell, Dean Winchester’s grandfather in ‘The Winchesters’, the prequel to the series which concluded in November 2020.
From Smallville to the new DC Universe?
Following comments made by James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy”), about the upcoming Superman movie he’s filming, fans can’t stop speculating.
The director said so the new film will focus on the years leading up to the superhero’s life and would like to include great characters. With that, fans have come to expect Gunn to include characters like lex lutor (“Smallville”) starring Rosenbaum for 7 years. The actor did not miss the opportunity and expressed his desire on his social networks for these theories to come true: “I’d like to be considered for the part. I mean I’ve been playing it for 7 years. Unless you guys have a problem with it”.
