“It looks like some wires were crossed on the walkie-talkies as to what actually happened,” a local law enforcement official told Deadline. “But there will be no baby born from her tonight deity screen.”
Contrary to previous reports, no women gave birth during a screening deity at the Egyptian Theater on Main Street. Instead, a gentleman had a seizure and quickly left the theater. The screening of the NEXT category film has not been interrupted, we have been informed.
Although paramedics were called and arrived promptly, the man in question remained calm, we are now told.

At a presentation of deity At the Egyptian Theater on Main Street in Park City, a woman went into labor during the film. After a quick intervention by theater security, she was whisked away by paramedics. We understand the woman is on her way to a local hospital in Park City.
The science fiction film, written and directed by Eddie Alcazar, is part of the festival’s NEXT section.
At first, the woman appeared to have a seizure in her seat, police told Deadline.
