Jeremy Renner confirms he broke more than 30 bones in the crash

January 1, 2023 was not one that Jeremy Renner wants to remember for the rest of his life, as he suffered a serious accident which, if not for his neighbor, could have had fatal consequences. Now, the ‘Avengers’ actor has shared a photo from his home in which he confirms that he’s broken more than 30 bones and come a long way to recover.

On his Twitter account, Jeremy Renner shared a photo of his recovery at home, where the 52-year-old interpreter is seen in a bed, while a physiotherapist helps him with some rehabilitation massages. Recall that the protagonist of ‘Hawkeye’ on Disney + has undergone two surgeries, and was about to lose his leg, after a snowplow ran over him, and a neighbor helped him by providing first aid.

In the mail, Jeremy Renner confirms he broke more than 30 bones: “The morning workouts, the resolutions, everything has changed this particular New Year,” the actor wrote in the publication. “From tragedy to my entire family, and quickly focused on joining actionable love, I want to thank everyone for their messages and consideration, for me and my family.”

The actor went on to write, “Much love and appreciation to you all. These more than 30 broken bones will be fixed, strengthened, as the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to all,” said Jeremy Renner. The publication has received response from some of his peers and so far has more than 1 million 200 thousand likes.

Friends fear a long recovery for Jeremy Renner

After two surgeries and “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” Jeremy Renner faces a best-of-case scenario after an accident that could have easily ended his life, had he not been as lucky as it has been. And although he is now recovering from the comfort of his home, close friends and family have spoken to some media outlets and predict a rather belated recovery.

Although the actor has been discharged, he is far from being at his best, sources close to the family have told various media outlets that Jeremy Renner’s full recovery will take “a very long time.” And they are not referring to a couple of months, but to several and even years to return to having a physique close to that of before the accident.

It’s a shame that when Renner was getting close to being an action actor, the accident may have taken that away from him, and his future roles, if he were to continue, would limit him in that regard.
