Sadie Sink (Stranger things, The whale) just landed the lead role in a post-apocalyptic future-set rock opera film titled Odessa. The project is staged at Searchlight Pictures e Jason Binnick (Patti Cake$) is set to direct.

The film is set in a post-apocalyptic future and is about “a farm girl on an epic quest to recover a cherished family heirloom. Her journey takes her to a strange and dangerous city where she meets her one true love, but to save her soul, she must test the power of fate and song.

It sounds like it could be a really cool movie and one that Sink will have a lot of fun making. Sink is on his way to having a very successful acting career and he seems to be taking on strong projects that showcase his unique talents.

Spotlight Presidents Matthew Greenfield And David Greenbaum said in a statement, “We are so excited to partner with Geremy again. With O’dessa, he brings an extraordinary, visceral energy to a whole new cinematic landscape.”

This will be Sink’s next project, and she will begin shooting the film this May in Croatia ahead of the highly anticipated final season of Stranger things Season 5.
