Session 9 director Brad Anderson has another film project lined up titled The hour of silence with a great cast including Joel Kinnaman, Mark Strong, Sandra Mae Frank (New Amsterdam), And Mekhi Phifer(8 miles, divergent).

Kinnaman plays a Boston police detective in the film “who suffers from hearing loss after an accident on the job. Sixteen months later, he and his friend and partner (Strong) team up to fight crooked cops trying to eliminate a deaf witness to a murder in his apartment building. Frank will play Ava, the witness to the murder and Phifer will play Lynch, ringleader of the dirty cops.
It’s always great to see Anderson get new directing gigs! I’ve been a fan ever since Session 9. Since then he has made projects such as The Machinist, Trans-Siberian, Beirut, The Call, and more. He will direct the film from an original screenplay by Dan Salaand production will begin in Malta and Toronto at the end of February.
