“The Mandalorian” is about a month and a half away from returning with new space adventures led by Papa Din and his Grogu. The first episode of the third season will debut on Disney+ on March 1stagain with Pedro Pascal in the skin of a protagonist this time seek redemption. After taking off his helmet at the end of season 2, in that emotional moment when Grogu raises his little hand to touch dad’s cheek, Din Djarin must redeem himself from said sin if he is to be at peace with the Mandalorian faction to which he belongs.hence his home planet, Mandalore, will gain a lot of prominence in the new episodes.
“You took off your helmet, you are no longer a Mandalorian”said the character played by Emily Swallow, The Armorer, in the first teaser of season 3. Thus, alluding to a scene that we could see not in ‘The Mandalorian’, but in one of the last episodes of ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ , that aperitif made it clear that the new episodes will pick up the story where the series focused on that other bounty hunter left off. Temuera Morrison returned to bring Boba Fett to life in a TV drama that ended up giving “The Mandalorian” all the prominence, showing not only the reunion of father and son, but also the keys that structure its third season.
Din Djarin will have to seek the aforementioned redemption “in the living waters beneath the mines of Mandalore” complicated task given the state of the planet of which, presumably, he should be the ruler. At least this determines possession of the Dark Saber, a weapon he won in combat against Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) during the season 2 finale. This provoked the anger of Bo-Katan Kryse (Katee Sackhoff), a Mandalorian regent-wannabe who doesn’t get along with the faction to which Din belongs. All of this is just picked up in the official synopsis for season 3 released by Disney, a brief description that gives clues about the dark times we are about to dive into.
“The Mandalorian’s journeys across the galaxy continue. Din Djarin, once a lone bounty hunter, has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic fights to remove the galaxy from its dark history. The Mandalorian will meet old allies and create new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”.

Connection with consequences
Already during Star Wars Celebration, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, creators of ‘The Mandalorian’, had announced that we would get back the creatures we met through Babu Frik, a character introduced in Episode IX of the ‘Star Wars’ saga. So only said return has been confirmed, which would mean exploring the race of said character 26 years before what happened in “The Rise of Skywalker”, but thanks to the first images of the third season, the occasional moment of such incorporation has already been seen.
Also, along with Din, Grogu, Frik and company, we will also see Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi or Amy Sedaris reprise their respective roles. The “clan of two” arrives again ready to revolutionize our favorite galaxy far awayHow much they have been missed!
