It is a great honor for Corinne to be able to take the time to fight with us.”
Corinne’s story is unique in that she went live on Facebook during the debate and begged the world to help her with her life. His son was also there. Unfortunately, the conflict ended when the SWAT team broke into his apartment and killed him in front of his son.
“Justice for black women in our society is always under the rug,” Pollock said. Said. “The media often focuses on police killings. After two years of fighting, the Corinne family has decided to accept $38 million from a jury in civil court for what happened. In 2019, a judge unilaterally took $38 million from the family. Later in 2020, after a family appeal, another judge reinstated the $38 million payment. However, to date, the family has not been able to receive this amount, and no fees have been demanded from those involved in his death.
