If you’ve already seen ‘Glass Onion’ on Netflix, and you’re left with the desire for a very similar story and one that also puts you in the shoes of the protagonists to solve who the killer is. You must see these detective films, which are not modern titles, and can be enjoyed perfectly in the company of multiple people.

Kenneth Branagh is a master conductor murder mystery movies. As in “Death on the Nile”, a crime thriller starring Armie Hammer, Gal Gadot, Letitia Wright and others. Director Park Chan-Wook’s latest crime film is ‘Decision to Leave’, a romantic drama involving a curious mystery. Hae Joon is a detective with his years behind him, who investigates the death of a man, where all clues point to the wife of the deceased. However, the attraction he feels towards him will complicate the case.

Dark crimes

With Jim Carrey and Charlotte Gainsbourg, we have a crime drama film Directed by Alexandros Avranas, ‘Dark Crimes’. The story follows Tadek, a homicide detective who investigates the murder case where he discovers that some of the incidents are perfectly described in a book written by a novelist. inherent vice

Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and starring Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Katerine Waterson, Owen Wilson and Benicio del Toro we have ‘Inherent Vice’. The story follows Larry, a private detective who helps his ex-wife investigate the disappearance of her lover, a tycoon who wanted to give back to the city everything he had stolen. Available on HBO Max.

Prisoners

Finally, one of the best suspense and crime thrillers of recent years is ‘Prisoners’, a film by Denis Villeneuve. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal play a father and a detective chasing the kidnapper of two girls. The case gets even more complicated when the person responsible is caught, a mentally challenged boy who they believe is hiding a secret. Available on YouTube and Amazon PrimeVideo.
