Cast of ‘The Godfather of Harlem’

The third season of “The Godfather of Harlem” premieres January 15 on MGM+. The series revolves around crime boss Bumpy Johnson, played by Forest Whitaker, who returns from 11 years in prison in the early 1960s to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles.

In the highly anticipated third season, Bumpy continues to fight for control of Harlem. However, he will face threats to the throne, namely the Cuban mafia from nearby Spanish Harlem. Taking on the Cuban mafia will put Bumpy, his loved ones and his community in the crosshairs not only of Italian rivals, but also of ruthless Latino assassins and, ultimately, the CIA. The Godfather of Harlem is a collision between the criminal underworld and the civil rights movement during one of the most tumultuous periods in American history.

The series also stars Ilfenesh Hadera, Lucy Fry, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Erik LaRay Harvey, Jason Alan Carvell, Michael Raymond-James and Yul Vasquez. Check out more photos from the show in our gallery.
