TOP GUN: MAVERICK Actress Monica Barbaro Stars In Trailer For Paramount+ Hollywood Rom-Com AT MIDNIGHT

Paramount+ has released the new trailer for their upcoming romantic comedy At midnighthero Monica Barbarawho starred in last summer’s blockbuster, Top Gun: nonconformist. She is joined in the cast by Anders Holm (Workaholics, How to be single), Whitney Cummings (Whitney, Made of honor), Catherine Coen (Dating and nyc, The lovebirds), Casey Thomas Brown (The Kominsky method, father of the bride), Maya Zapata (Selena’s secret), Fernando Carsa (Acapulco), Ricardo Esquerra (Narcos: Mexico), And Diego Bonetta (father of the bride, Terminator: Dark Fate).

Here is the description:

At midnight is a romantic comedy about two people who try their best not to fall in love. It centers on Alejandro (Boneta), who lives a predictable life according to plan, and Sophie (Barbaro), a beautiful rising movie star with an unreliable celebrity boyfriend. While visiting the beach in Mexico to shoot scenes for his new movie, Supercorporation, Sophie falls in love with the hotel manager. Neither of them will be able to avoid falling in love and going against all odds.

At midnight is directed by Jonah Feingold (What are we?, Dating and nyc), with whom he co-wrote the screenplay Maria Hinojos And Giovanni M. Porta.

This seems pretty predictable and silly. Many of the situations shown in the trailer that appear to serve comic relief look like they’ve been done before, and I don’t know if the solidly talented cast will be enough to get people interested in that. I like rom-coms, but I don’t know if this one has enough magic to make it special. Check out the trailer below and see At midnight on Paramount+ on February 10.
