EXCLUSIVE: Kristen Stewart conducts an extended interview with Vicky Krieps, who appears as Empress Elisabeth corsage, the IFC film that put actress and director Marie Kreutzer in Oscar contention for a film nominated as an Austrian film for Best International Film. Stewart is a big fan of the film and explains how Krieps came up with the idea and got the director to make the film. They also discuss the importance of telling stories from a woman’s perspective. They also briefly touch on the shock of discovering that Florian Teichtmeister, who plays Krieps’ husband Emperor Franz Joseph in a supporting role, has been charged with possession of child pornography. The actor, who has reportedly pleaded guilty, will appear in court on February 8 after being arrested with 58,000 files containing pornographic images of a minor as young as 14.
