While on the Golden Globes red carpet, the actor was asked by ET about the future of the series and he responded by saying: I can tell you there will be [season] 6 and [there] it will be a 7th, is all I can say. That’s all I can tell you.
As for what we can expect from the second half of Season 5, he wouldn’t reveal anything. He just said, “I like getting to know the fans. It will be a surprise”.
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner). The Duttons control the largest contiguous ranch in the United States and have to contend with constant attacks by land developers, clashes with an Indian reservation and conflicts with America’s first national park.
The series is also starring Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Josh Lucas, Finn LittleAnd Ryan Birmingham.
Yellowstone is one of my favorite shows to watch. It’s so damn good and while I don’t know what’s going to happen, I’m thrilled that we’ll have at least two more seasons!
