Blade Runner
Ridley Scott made one of the best neo-noir sci-fi thrillers in history with ‘Blade Runner’, the adaptation of the novel by Phillip K. Dick. Harrison Ford plays a detective named Rick Deckard, tasked with eliminating a group of androids who have fled to Earth and infiltrated humans to live like everyone else. Available on HBO Max.

Since not all of the list is about western stories, Park Chan-Wook also released one of the greatest film noir classics, 2003’s ‘Oldboy’. Surely one of the neo-noir thrillers that many have already seen, or will know the term of this tape, is “Se7en”, by David Fincher. A masterpiece starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman in which they chase a killer (played by Kevin Spacey, who kills his victims according to the deadly sins. Available on HBO Max.
