It has been said many times Star Trek: Picard The third season will close the story of Jean Luc Picard. The creative team behind the show made it look like that, this is the end for Picard and the rest of the Next Generation characters. But maybe that’s not the case!
Patrick Stewart and producer Alex Kurtzman are now saying the door has been left open for more Picards in the Star Trek universe. During an interview with Deadline, Stewart said:
“There’s still a huge potential for things in what we can do and there are doors left open and we haven’t closed them all.”
Kurtzman continued that “anything is possible” and added:
“If the show blows the doors off the place, and we certainly hope it does since we’re very proud of Season 3, who knows.”
Now, Stewart recently spoke out about the series closing, saying, “I’m thrilled [how Season 3] deals with the Next Generation cast saying goodbye to Star Trek. I know it will mean a lot to the fans.”
But, you know, maybe they don’t really say hello anymore. I do not know! Guess we’ll have to wait and see! I would definitely like to see more Picards in the future, but here they are playing with my emotions with mixed messages! Is it the end or not!?
Season 3 brings back the cast of Star Trek: Next Generation, more than 20 years later Star Trek: Nemesis. Picard will be reunited once again with Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), who appeared in the first season of Picard, and also played Data (Brent Spiner). But now it will be joined by LeVar Burton how Geordi LaForg, Michael Dorn like Worf, Michele Hurd as Raffi Musician, Gates McFadden such as Beverly Crusher, e Jeri Ryan as Commander Seven of Nine.
The third season will premiere on Paramount+ on February 16. Here’s a new poster!
