Here’s some good news that fans of the Arrowverse will love! Green Arrow will team up with The Flash one last time in the ninth and final season of The flashand Stephen Amell will be back to reprise his role as Oliver Queen!
Amell’s Green Arrow will guest star in episode 909, joining the previously announced David Ramsey as John Diggle, aka Spartan, Keiynan Lonsdale such as Wally West/Kid Flash, e Sendhil Ramamurthy like Ramsey Red/Bloodwork.
The flash executive producer Eric Wallace said in a statement: “As soon as our final season was announced, we knew we wanted Stephen to return and reprise his iconic role as Oliver Queen. After all, it was Oliver who originally launched Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin) on his heroic path. That’s why everyone on Team Flash felt so strongly that it was important to create a moment that comes full circle with Oliver’s return in the final season of The Flash. The result is an epic yet emotional episode that we hope fans of the Arrowverse will enjoy. It’s all to say “thank you” to everyone for watching and supporting our show for nine wonderful years. We absolutely cannot wait for everyone to see Grant and Stephen save the world together again. And yes, there will be chills, shivers and tears.
