Jon Cryer (Pretty in pink, Two men and a half) played the role of Lex Luthor on The CW series Supergirland fans wondered if he would cross over to The CW series Superman and Lois. But Cryer took to Twitter to officially announce that he won’t be playing the part on the other show. This makes sense as the Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth TullochThe Wizard Series is not set in the world of the Arrowverse.
Apart from the 20 episodes of Supergirl Cryer has appeared on, has even become a part of, The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, which allowed him to star in an episode of Batwoman, Flash, Arrowand Legends of Tomorrow.
It’s a shame Cryer didn’t get to continue the role, if that was what he was hoping to do, but those are the breaks. Who would you like to see recast as Lex Luthor? Superman and Lois?
It would have been fun.
