Our next Marvel movie is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummaniaand by which director Peyton Reed said about it, this film will up the ante for Ant-Man and his associates as they enter the multiverse and take their film to the grandest scale of any film since Avengers: Finale.

Reed recently sat down with Nerdbunker and explained why antagonize Ant-Man’s shrink (Paul Rudd) against the multiverse journey Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Major) is actually more complex than we know, and it all comes back to his relationship with his daughter, Cassie (Kathryn Newton).
“It occurred to us, of course, ‘Well, Cassie is going to be 18 in this movie, that’s great. The whole theme is time and how long [Scott’s] lost, and his main motivation is just, ‘I want to spend time with my daughter,’ and now he’s connecting with a villain in this film, Kang the Conqueror, who has dominion over time, and what does that mean to them? “
In the trailer, we see Kang offering Scott all the time in the world in exchange for his help. This is an intriguing offering, and Scott wasted quite a bit of time with Cassie over the blip, so it’ll be interesting to see how he plays out.
Reed added:
“I think audiences are really referring to Scott Lang because he doesn’t have superpowers, he’s not a super scientist, he’s not a billionaire. He’s a normal person who happens to be involved in these adventures.”
I agree. I love Scott Lang’s recognizability and can’t wait to see how he fares Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania when it hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
