2023 begins, and horror must be celebrating, given that two of the most anticipated horror films will be released in January, and nothing in the world must be let go. And although one of them can already be seen in some cinemas, in Mexico and Latin America it will be the first weeks of the year when these titles will arrive for the fans.

It’s about ‘terrifying 2’y’Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’, two films to be released in January 2023, and we tell you everything you need to know about its launch and why they have become two titles that have received all the attention on social networks. Despite the controversy with the two, they are titles that any horror fan shouldn’t pass up.

The first is ‘terrifying 2’, which opens on January 12 in Cinemex and Cinépolis cinemas. Damien Leone’s sequel brings back Art, The Clown, the killer clown born in the short film “All Hallow’s Eve” and who has already become one of the new icons of horror in cinema. Furthermore, it was a complete success, as it exceeded $12 million, on a budget of only $250,000.

‘Terrifier 2’ was released last year 2022 and there was a lot of controversy surrounding the tape upon its release. It turns out that many moviegoers have reported passing out, vomiting, or simply leaving the theaters, due to the highly graphic content displayed on screen. Curiosity worked in his favor, and now thousands of fans await its release.

‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ comes looking for revenge

On the other hand, ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ premieres January 26, 2023 in Mexico and in select cinemas. Again it was not without controversy, as many wondered how the lovable yellow bear of the Disney stories and cartoons had become a murderer, to be used in a horror film.

‘Winnie the Pooh: Honey and Blood’ is made possible through the efforts of Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who along with producer Jagged Edge Productions, was patient and waited for the rights to AA Milne’s characters to fall into the public domain. Which allows you, legally, to distribute, copy or do anything with them, even a horror movie.

‘Terrifier 2’ and ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ will be released in 2023 and releases of upcoming horror films will begin. And just as they came as a surprise in 2022, the next 12 months are also expected to be loaded with all kinds of such propositions, which have an opportunity to be seen around the world.
