THE BOYS gets a 90s-style sitcom opener

Amazon Prime Video has released a new video for its hit series The boys and reinvents the intro like an early 90s sitcom, and it’s complete with that silly upbeat sitcom music. The video includes repurposed footage of the show as it introduces its popular characters. Check it out!

The Boys offers an irreverent insight into what happens when superheroes, who are as famous as celebrities, influential as politicians and revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather than using them for good. It’s the powerless versus the super-powered as the boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about the supergroup known as “The Seven.” The show retains most of the boundary-pushing violence and sexuality of the comics while exploring the dark side of superhero stardom and fame.
