Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we get our first look Lauren Ambrose (Servant) as the adult Van on Showtime’s Yellow Jackets Season 2. As you can see, the character is still sporting his casual-cool look, and you can also see the scars on the left side of his face from that brutal wolf attack in Season 1. He also seems happy, which is nice, especially after what he’s been through. The younger version of the character is played by Liv Hewson.
Yellow Jackets was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (narcos). The series follows a talented high school girls soccer team who survive a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness. The story “tells their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracing the lives they attempted to rebuild nearly 25 years later, proving that the past was never really the past and what began in the desert is all nothing but finished.”
The series is also starring Juliet Lewis (Camping), Christina Ricci (Z: The beginning of everything) and Brown cypress (Unforgettable), Melanie Lynsky (Sweet home Alabama), Simone Kessel (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Jason Ritter (Parenthood), and Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings) in a season-long story arc as a city detective named Walter.
The series is also starring Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty, Steven Krueger, and Warren Cole.
Previously speaking about the second season, Ricci said it’s “crazier, more shocking and really gripping and fun.” She went on to say, “I can’t really go into too much detail, but I will say the first two scripts blew the whole cast away. So it’s even wilder.”
Yellow jackets will premiere on March 24, 2023.
