Netflix has released a trailer for the Italian drama miniseries, The lying life of adultsbased on the bestselling novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante. The six-part Italian series directed by Edward De Angelis stars Giordana Marengo like Giovanna, whose turbulent transition from childhood to adolescence against the backdrop of 1990s Naples is the center of this story.
The series is also starring Valeria Golino like Aunt Vittoria, with Alexander Precious, Pina Turco, Blue Mennellaand Scarlett Legs.

The search for a new face, after the happy one of childhood, oscillates between two consanguineous Naples who however fear and hate each other: the Naples above, which has given itself a beautiful mask, and the one below, which pretends to be excessive, banal. Giovanna oscillates between high and low, now tumbling, now climbing, disconcerted by the fact that, up or down, the city seems unanswerable and without escape.
