James Gunn’s arrival at DC Studios was much criticized by fans of everything that had been built, from “Man of Steel” to “Black Adam”. However, the company’s future plans have changed and now no one is safe anymore. A new report assures that Dwayne Johnson would have turned down a cameo in ‘The Flash’ with Ezra Miller.

According to Umberto Gonzáles of The Wrap, he mentions it DC Comics asked Dwayne Johnson to appear ‘Fast’. Since, as some may know, the film with Ezra Miller is about the latest story of the EUDC as it is known until now, as it will work as a reboot of all the characters, and not only, they will take advantage of it to bring new actors to life to their most iconic superheroes.

The insider’s source mentions it Dwayne Johnson has turned down an appearance ‘Fastvia 7 Bucks president of production Hiram Garcia, who approached the ‘Black Adam’ actor to see if he would like to be a part of Andy Muschietti’s film. 7 Bucks is the producer of the actor, and Hiram is the president of the company, which made him the offer of DC Studios.

The real reasons why Dwayne Johnson turned down the cameo ‘Fast’, however, with recent rumors of discussions between the actor and Warner Bros, it could be that the actor no longer feels a part of what he once thought would be the cinematic universe to his liking. Well, Johnson himself has confirmed that Black Adam has been barred from the future of the EUDC.

Will Dwayne Johnson continue as Black Adam?

Taking to social media, Johnson confirmed that ‘Black Adam’ has been excluded from the EUDC thanks to James Gunn’s plans to reframe the future of EUDC films, series for HBO Max, video games and animation over the next 10 years. This is how the character that Johnson worked on for 15 years to bring him to the big screen, remained in one film without continuity.

With ‘Black Adam 2’ officially cancelled, like ‘Wonder Woman 3’ or ‘Man of Steel 2’, fans believe that is not the end of Johnson, because despite the news, they believe that mentioning that the anti-hero “won’t be in the first chapter of his narrative,” opens the door for the actor to return at some point, not soon, but possibly in the next few years.

For now, “Black Adam” is on HBO Max, and now fans are waiting for James Gunn to unveil plans for the next 10 years of the DC Extended Universe next January, as promised. Now, company executives are just waiting to give the green light, so fans can find out what’s next in the EUDC.
