Reality television star Ella Rae Wise, 26, is not married, according to reports. The TOWIE personality sparked speculation she had secretly tied the knot with businessman Ricky Lawrence, 34, after going Instagram official during a holiday in Marbella.
Speculation grew while the couple stayed at the luxurious Don Carlos Hotel, where Wise flashed a gold Cartier ring on her finger. During a meal, their friend Lorri Haines, who is engaged to Ferne McCann, shared a photograph of the pair alongside the caption, "Congratulations to the newlyweds."
A source told The Sun that the couple are not married and that the reference to being newlyweds was just a joke, though they added that the two are enjoying spending time together. The Daily Mail has contacted Wise's representative for comment.
Split from Dan Edgar and new relationship
The new romance comes four months after Wise split from her on-and-off boyfriend Dan Edgar, 36, who is now in a relationship with Chloe Lewis. Wise dumped Edgar in January 2025, one week before she entered the Big Brother house, citing trust issues.
In May, Wise candidly shared that she was finding it really hard to come to grips with Edgar moving on with Lewis.
Podcast appearance and feelings about her ex
Appearing on the new TOWIE podcast You Alright Hun?, Wise opened up to host Denise Van Outen about navigating being around her ex-boyfriend and gave her verdict on his relationship with Lewis.
Wise described the situation as a really hard situation, explaining that she and Edgar were naturally drawn to each other in group situations. She admitted feeling very emotional about the situation and confessed she wished she had a crystal ball so she knew which path to take.
Wise said, "It was a lot. And I think it's really hard to be around your ex anyway. Like, we all know that I don't have loads of friends on TOWIE don't we? So, he to me, he's a bit of my familiarity."
She continued, "Sometimes we are just drawn to each other, like, naturally. And it's not because we want to be disrespectful to the person that he's with or for people around us, it just happens. And like, I don't know, it's a really hard situation to be in. I don't think anyone can really comment unless they know..."
Getting candid about how she felt about Edgar, she said, "I think I feel very emotional, obviously when I'm around him and I feel like when I'm out of it or I'm not around him and I'm like, I still give him a call, but I'm more me. Do you know what I mean?"
She added, "And then, I don't know, I just think I'm a bit confused. I'm away with the fairies with it all. I don't really know what to do. It's like, do I get over it? Do I wait? Oh, if I had a crystal ball, I'd rub it so hard."
