Actress Eva Longoria spent Sunday on the beach near Marbella, Spain, wearing a red bikini during a family outing. The 51-year-old Desperate Housewives star has made several seaside appearances near Marbella since late June.
Longoria wore a skimpy red triangle bikini top tied upside down to highlight her cleavage, paired with matching cheeky thong bottoms. She protected her face with a cream-colored straw hat and styled her look with a white fedora and a gold chain.

Her husband José Bastón and their eight-year-old son Santiago Enrique joined her for the beach day. Longoria is also the stepmother to Bastón's three children from a previous relationship.

The former California resident now calls Spain and Mexico home for most of the year. She retains dual citizenship in the United States and Spain, having been born in Texas before spending most of her adult life in California.
Longoria previously stated that her American chapter is finished and expressed a desire to leave Los Angeles due to its changing atmosphere. In a 2024 interview with Marie Claire, she addressed her move and her concerns for others.
"I'm privileged," Longoria told Marie Claire. "I get to escape and go somewhere. Most Americans aren't so lucky. They're going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them."
Spanish Residence and Family Life
Longoria and her family remain content splitting their time between Mexico and Spain. In 2022, she received the honorary title of Dame in Spain due to her ancestral ties to the city of Oviedo.
She married Bastón in 2016 and expanded her ties to the region by buying property. In early 2023, following a years-long search, she purchased a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom villa in Marbella.
During Sunday's beach trip, Longoria sunbathed and played with beach toys, carrying a toy shovel while playing with her son. She appeared with little to no makeup and wore her dark hair pulled back into a messy low ponytail.

Later in the day, she left the shore wearing a striped button-down shirt designed to match her bikini. She accessorized with a woven shoulder bag and walked along the beach in suede sandals.

Fitness and Workout Routine
In recent years, Longoria has shared details about how she maintains her health while raising a young child. She explained her daily training schedule in an interview with Good Housekeeping in June.
"I wake up and work out at 5 a.m. with my trainer," Longoria told Good Housekeeping. "I do it six days a week, every week."

Longoria emphasized the mental benefits of her fitness routine, noting that her personal goals have evolved over time toward self-care and mental clarity.
"My workouts are really my form of meditation. It's my therapeutic hour," she said. "Before, it was like, 'I want abs!' And now I need it for my clarity."

Her routine focuses heavily on strength training with weights rather than traditional cardio exercises. She noted the physical necessity of resistance training after age 50.
"We do strength training, with weights. It’s heavy weights. Heavy, heavy weights with my trainer. After 50, we have to do resistance exercise, so it's not easy," Longoria explained. "I rarely do cardio these days unless it's bouncing. I go on the rebounder, and that's just so fun, but I only do that once or twice a week. The rest of the week is heavy weight training."
Post-Workout Routine and Rest
Following her morning gym sessions, Longoria engages in a series of restorative habits to balance her schedule. She incorporates meditation, outdoor activities, and home cooking into her day.
"After a workout, I do meditate as well," she said. "I also cook a lot, which is therapeutic to me. I journal, I take walks in nature, I ground myself."
Longoria also highlighted sleep as an essential part of her beauty and wellness regimen. She prioritizes getting adequate rest before managing her daily professional and family responsibilities.
"Sleep is a huge beauty hack," Longoria said. "People are like, 'Why do you look so great?' I'm like, 'I sleep. I really sleep.' It's hard here at Cannes, but I definitely prioritize sleep, and I think we don’t do that enough."
