César finds real Arthur Brandão report in Quem Ama Cuida

Dr. César will hand over authentic forensic documents in the Brazilian drama Quem Ama Cuida to prove Adriana's innocence in the death of Arthur Brandão.

The major plot twist, scheduled to air on September 15 in episode 103, reveals that the dermatologist bought the missing records during a blackmail exchange while secretly hiding his own historical involvement in the corrupt medical scheme.

Adriana, played by Letícia Colin, had grown discouraged after being informed that the authentic expert reports concerning the death of Arthur Brandão, portrayed by Antonio Fagundes, had been stolen. Her ally Pedro, played by Chay Suede, had previously held high expectations of locating the official forensic records to clear her name before learning the files were missing.

The reported theft was actually a secret financial transaction between Adélia, played by Juliana Guimarães, and César, played by Rainer Cadete. César is a practicing dermatologist and the son of Dalto, the corrupt forensic expert who falsified the original court documents during the initial trial following Arthur Brandão's death.

Blackmail and the hidden files

In episode 103 of the TV Globo series, Adélia approaches César to demand money in exchange for his father's hidden archive. César accepts the extortion proposal to protect himself, paying Adélia and requesting every historical document she holds regarding Dalto so he can review them and conceal his family's past illegal schemes.

César takes the retrieved paperwork to his medical clinic and stores the collection inside an office drawer. While later searching the drawer for personal belongings, he discovers that the genuine forensic autopsy report of Arthur Brandão was included among the files, realizing the paper can prove Adriana's innocence in court.

False claims and broken cameras

César keeps his financial transaction with Adélia a complete secret from everyone. He presents the official autopsy findings to Pedro and Adriana while feigning total ignorance about how the files reached his consult room, falsely claiming that an unidentified individual left them inside his drawer.

When the couple and clinic personnel review the local security system to identify who entered the private office, they discover that the surveillance cameras were broken at the time.

A secret past in the fraud scheme

Unbeknownst to his associates, César is hiding a past filled with secrets. The physician was one of the medical professionals directly involved alongside Dalto in issuing the fraudulent forensic reports, fully aware that his father produced forged documents that harmed innocent people during trials.

Currently charmed by his growing friendship with Adriana, César decides to hand the exonerating evidence over to the couple. However, to protect his personal standing, he repeats his false story that the records appeared unexpectedly in his consult room drawer and claims he knew nothing about his father's illegal operations.

The primetime drama

Quem Ama Cuida is TV Globo's flagship nine o'clock telenovela, created by screenwriters Walcyr Carrasco and Claudia Souto. The primetime drama series airs nationwide across Brazil, anchoring the network's evening television schedule.

The production features prominent Brazilian television actors, with Antonio Fagundes starring as the late Arthur Brandão alongside lead performers Letícia Colin, Chay Suede, and Rainer Cadete.

The discovery of the genuine forensic findings in episode 103 provides Adriana with crucial evidence to clear her name, while setting up further tension as César attempts to keep his past crimes secret.
