In November, Sir Cliff Richard said “I don’t know Stormzy” when discussing his match in the first Christmas Race and why he likes to strip naked in swimming pools

He takes on Stormzy in the first Christmas Race and already has four to his name.

And Sir Cliff Richard, 81, discussed his match during an interview on Tuesday’s This Morning, saying: “I don’t know Stormzy.”

Cockington’s famous miniature pony of the ‘unofficial mayor’ takes on the music heavyweights with the song ‘Neigh Hoora’ – and even has his own music video.

Think of festive numbers, and some iconic numbers pop up: Merry Christmas Everyone All I Want For Christmas Is You…; mistletoe and wine.

But those of us who aren’t of the YouTube generation may be less familiar with the latest crop of top players, especially when you learn they’re all from the same “group” and the surreal and very un-Christmas themed of… sausage roll .

Even less likely is a fifth consecutive number one on the horizon for this music company, which if successful will surpass the Beatles’ record for Christmas hits.
