Typically, after the Golden Globes, Deadline and other media outlets are inundated with requests to speak with giddy actors and actresses who have just received their first (or repeat) nomination from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. But not this year. Despite a new level of transparency from the HFPA and promises that house has been cleaned, everyone still remains in a true “wait and see” state when it comes to the new and “improved” Golden Globes.
There were a few actors who took the time to say thank you for the recognition after the nominations were announced on Monday. Kevin Costner released his own statement on social media, which read: “Working on yellowstone was a truly fulfilling project, and it was immensely satisfying and humbling that audiences embraced the show and its characters as they have over the past five years. To be recognized for this achievement is the icing on the cake and I share this nomination with everyone who has contributed to the show, especially my colleagues, the producers and crew.
Thanks to the @GoldenGlobes for the nomination. And @Yellowstone team that continues to make John Dutton a character that keeps us all on our toes. pic.twitter.com/sX69Vvp9eN

Jerry Bruckheimer chose to go old-fashioned by simply restating a statement Top Gun: Maverick received a Best Picture nomination. “Thank you for this honor. Top Gun: Maverick brought audiences back to the cinema at a time when we needed entertainment the most. I am thrilled to share this nomination with Paramount, Tom and the entire cast and crew who made it possible.”
The stars of The Banshees by Inisherin Statements were also released.
