“We will follow Brittney’s lead in when and how fans, the media and our organization officially welcome her back,” Marsee explained. “Be assured that when the time is right, you will receive the celebration you deserve.”

As for Brittney’s return to the basketball court, Marsee said there may be more important things to focus on now following the 32-year-old’s ordeal. “Our focus is on Brittney’s physical and mental health after everything she’s been through over the past nine months,” she said. “We know she loves basketball and it’s one of the things that she’s been taken away from, but right now she’s not her top priority.”
