
The royal couple barely survived unscathed.
The visit of King Charles III of Great Britain, along with his wife Camilla, to York ended in an incident. The first person of the state was in danger and disgraced throughout the country.
The crowd cheered the royals, who arrived in York for the unveiling of the statue of the late Elizabeth II. However, this event did not please all Britons.
Armed with eggs, the man decided to teach the rulers a lesson. Admittedly, luck was clearly not on the side of the crooked attacker. Of the three eggs thrown, none hit Charles III and Camilla.
An exasperated man began shouting “This country is built on the blood of slaves” before being detained by the police.
The audience could not appreciate the rowdy act. There were cries of “God Save the King” and “Shame,” The Guardian told The Guardian.
